Welcome to the Marching Skyhawks of Point University. The Marching Skyhawks are one of the fastest growing organizations the campus of Point University. The marching band, which began in 2015, has already established a tradition of excellence and achievement in the state of Georgia. In only the first season, the band performed for thousands of family and friends and has been invited to perform at multiple exhibitions and events in the state of Georgia. As exciting as the 2015 season has been, 2016 is already set to become a record breaking year!
The members of the Marching Skyhawks come from many different places and backgrounds. Many of the students are music majors, and many of the students are not music majors. However, all of the members are rallied behind performing with excellence and giving our fans a half time performance that they will remember!
The Marching Skyhawks also compete in the Georgia Indoor Percussion Association as well as Winter Guard International under the name “Point University Winds” between February and April.
You could be a member of our marching band and receive a scholarship for being on the team. Click on “Scholarship” above to learn more!
